Welcome to Day Four
Today is the fourth day of the 6th Asia Oceania Korfball Championships. If this is your first experience of Korfball be sure to pick up a flyer explaining how the game is played, and have a chat to someone sat near you, they will probably be able to explain some things as well. This is the first International tournament in New Zealand and runs through to the final day on Sunday.

Australia vs New Zealand
6.45 Friday
First up tonight is the second Trans-Tasman Clash. Australia dominated the first match on Tuesday night, but New Zealand have been working hard and hope to hold them off tonight.

Chinese Taipei vs Invitational Team
8.15 Friday
Chinese Taipei, undefeated so far in this tournament, match up against the Invitational Team at 8.15.

Match Report New Zealand vs Chinese Taipei
The third day of the Championships saw Chinese Taipei defeat the hosts New Zealand to confirm their favouritism for the tournament.

New Zealand looked more composed than in their opening match, controlling play for periods, taking longer to construct attacks and showing more confidence under the korf to take a good share of the rebound. However, defence remains a weakness, with over 60 per cent of Chinese Taipei's goals coming from running in shots or penalties. The speed and accuracy of Chinese Taipei was no match for New Zealand. Rung-Kai Li and Chih-Wei Chen top scored with five apiece, the rest of their team's goals spread among their team-mates.

For the kiwis, Silvia Bangma took a leading role, Nick Muir again found the korf twice and youngster Adam Klomp topped off a convincing performance with a well taken long shot three minutes from the final whistle.
