Canterbury Season restarts 3 May 2011

The Korfball Canterbury winter season started today with 6 teams in the competition. We welcome new teams from the College of Education, while old stallwarts Red Dwarves return with many old faces. Its great to have everyone together again 'playing the game'.

The start of the season was delayed following the tragic Christchurch Earthquake in February. The venue at Cowles Stadium still shows the signs of post-earthquake resource centre with machinery, temporary buildings and other paraphenalia still located on the site. The venue is in good condition, even if some of the roads leading to it are a bit the worst for wear.
