Regions
Korfball New Zealand is created from the regions it represents. Each regional organisation is self managing, and takes
responsibility for the growth and development of korfball in its area. The regions also support the development of new
regional areas, under the guidance of the national body.

AucklandAuckland KorfballAuckland Korfball has the strongest catchment area for potential players
as it encompasses New Zealand's largest city. In time, will grow to become the largest player base in the country. 
Counties-ManukauCounties Manukau KorfballCounties Manukau is the first new region to split from the greater Auckland player base. By taking over the southern Auckland area, this region encompasses some of the strongest Pacifica based areas of the country, bringing with it a populace with strength, height and athletic agility. ![]()
WellingtonWellington KorfballWellington region holds a geographically diverse area which lends
itself easily to creating individual clubs. Recognising this, Wellington Korfball is focussing on isolating areas ripe for new korfball clubs. 
CanterburyKorfball CanterburyCanterbury is the birthplace of Korfball New Zealand,
and currently maintains the largest player base. Having one of the largest catchment areas, it includes many smaller farming communities and over the years has invested heavily
in promoting the sport throughout its region.
